NAFI RI operates several residential programs in Rhode Island. Our professional and dedicated staff utilize the Normative Approach as well as trauma informed, cultural and gender responsive approaches in assessment and treatment. The Normative Approach teaches communication, problem solving, social and leadership skills as well as the importance of community in building circles of support. We offer our students support and training in various Independent Living skills as well as support in the local community, in school, at work and with positive recreational activities.
